The 48-year-old actress took to the social networking site earlier today to post her inaugural Instagram pic. Of course, the brunette beauty opted for a stunning selfie of herself surrounded by fellow attendees at the Advertising Week Europe. Hayek looked beautiful in the close-up snapshot with bright red lipstick on.

But that's not all. In addition to her selfies, Hayek also posted a fan drawing of her face. She reposted another sweet fan art piece with the caption, "Welcome to Instagram to the smart intelligent force that is @salmahayek I'm afraid I'm home with no pens, so I've given you a new rouge hairdo. #artisticlicense."
