Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard can't wait to meet their son, but these first-time parents-to-be know it's up to baby Dilly to decide when he's ready to arrive!

The pregnant 19 Kids and Counting star is actually due today (March 24), but as Jill tells People, she's "planning on the baby coming late, no big deal—if you have it in your head that way, you won't get discouraged."

"When everyone else is asking you, 'When are you going to have that baby?' The baby will come when the baby comes," she says.

Even though Jill's technical due date is today, the 23-year-old mom-to-be tells the mag she marked an additional day on the calendar: April 5. "I have told myself, 'First-time moms often go a week and a half over, so didn't get discouraged," she says.

Jill, who is currently studying to be a midwife, tells People it's "really exciting to be studying this when you're pregnant. It takes on a whole different light when you are studying about what you are going through."

Derick, 26, is making sure his pregnant wife is well taken care of through it all! "He is so sweet," says Jill. "He's doing amazing. He gave me a foot massage and painted my nails last night...He asked me what color I wanted, and we decided on pink nails. He picked out a bright pink and he said, 'Here we go--this will be your labor color.'"

The dad-to-be is also planning to help Jill during labor! "Derick will be my coach as I like to say," she told E! News back in October, "so [he'll be] helping me through the process."

Jill also revealed that she and Derick are planning to deliver baby Dilly with the help of a midwife at home. The couple had already started taking Bradley method classes, too. "[It's] husband-coached childbirth," Jill explained, "so that he can know how to help me in labor and in pregnancy—and that's what I want the most, is [for] him to be able to know what to do when that comes."

Something tells us Derick and Jill are both well-prepared for when their little boy decides to arrive!
