Ryan Murphy is firming up the cast for American Horror Story: Hotel with Chloe Sevigny. The American Horror Story: Asylum veteran will be a series regular in the upcoming fifth season of AHS, Murphy announced.

"Very excited to announce that Chloe Sevigny returns to the AHS family as a series regular on AHS: Hotel," he said on Twitter.

The Big Love veteran joins Lady Gaga, Matt Bomer, Wes Bentley and Cheyenne Jackson in the cast so far. Longtime American Horror Story player Jessica Lange recently revealed she won't be returning to the fold for the fifth season.

"Yes, I'm done," Lange told the audience at PaleyFest. "We've had a great run here. I have absolutely loved doing these four characters that I've had the opportunity to play. In all the madness, I've loved the writers, my actors, Ryan and the whole, I mean, insanity of it, shooting here, shooting in New Orleans, the stories, everything."

Sevigny recurred in the second season of AHS as Shelley, a patient at Briarcliff who is experimented on by Dr. Arden (James Cromwell). Her other TV credits include Bloodline, The Mindy Project, Those Who Kill, Portlandia and Hit & Miss.

Murphy revealed American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson casting news on his Twitter account yesterday when he announced Nashville star Connie Britton has signed on to play Faye Resnick. The cast of that show includes Sarah Paulson, Cuba Gooding Jr., John Travolta and David Scwhimmer.

AHS: Hotel is set to start production in Los Angeles this summer with an October debut.
