You've never seen Kevin Bacon like this before.

The Following star teamed up with his executive producers Marcos Siega and Alexi Hawley for Funny AND Die, starring himself and Dean Winters. The epic parody of the Fox serial killer thriller was shot last weekend, and it's got a crazy connection to another serial killer thriller series that bowed two years ago...Dexter!

That's right, Bacon got Michael C. Hall to shave off that lumberjack beard and ditch the flannel guest star in the twisted video short, but is he playing himself...or is he a follower of Joe Carroll's (James Purefoy)?

Watch the hilarious short above now!

Can we all just take a moment to let the amazingness of Funny AND Die sink in?! Not only did Bacon get his real-life wife Kyra Sedgwick to appear in the short, she also plays a cold-blooded serial killer who kills him! Talk about a dysfunctional marriage, huh? (To be clear: we mean their "marriage" in the short, because their real-life marriage is basically our #relationshipgoals.)

But perhaps the greatest part of Funny AND Die is a moment that only lasts about two seconds...Sam Underwood's cameo!

Before the British actor pulled double-duty as psycho twins Mark and Luke on The Following, he got his start by playing Dexter Morgan's protégé on Dexter, so the fact that he's in something with both Bacon and Hall is kind of blowing our minds right now. This is The Following-Dexter mashup we never knew we wanted but we always needed!

The Following airs Mondays at 9 p.m. except for tonight's special two-hour block starting at 8 p.m. on Fox.
