The 34-year-old actress, who plays Megan Draper on Mad Men, and her musician boyfriend, a fellow French-Canadian, have welcomed their first child together, a baby boy.
"Please meet Blues Anthony Paré Kastner…" Paré's beau said in an Instagram post published late on Friday, alongside a photo of his 8-year-old daughter Summer with her newborn brother.
He did not reveal when the baby was born.
The little girl is the spitting image of her mother, Katner's ex-wife, Canadian actress Nicole de Boer, 44. She is best known for her roles as Ezri Dax on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and Sarah Bracknell Bannerman on Stephen King's Dead Zone.
Paré had revealed her pregnancy last October. News of her baby's birth comes a little more than two weeks before the midseason premiere of the seventh and final season of Mad Men, which airs on AMC on April 5.
Parée, who is also known for her role as Tara in Hot Tub Time Machine, has also been married before. She and writer-producer Joseph M. Smith divorced in 2010 after about three years of marriage.
She and Kastner, former frontman of Canadian punk band Asexual and a singer-guitarist for All Systems Go!, have been dating since 2012.
