Cookie Monster has a new job: Life coach!

The loveable Sesame Street character listens to people detail their personal problems in a video studio PBS posted on Facebook this week. Needless to say, if you hire Cookie Monster to be your life coach, the outcome is going to be sweet, as he always directs the conversations to what's really important, which is also, coincidentally, the solution to all issues.

"I just lost another job," a woman begins to tell him.

"Where'd it go?" he deadpans.

"I don't know what to do though, Cookie" she continues

"What would you like to do? You like cookies?" he replies.

Another man tells him he feels like he's on an island that is being deserted."

"Are there cookies on this island?" Cookie Monster replies.

The character recently took on another profession that tends to involve listening to people open up about their life: A bartender. Well, sort of. He made a surprise appearance at the 2015 South by Southwest Festival in Austin, Texas, working at the Funny or Die Hideout, where he served customers—what else?—cookies. Five kinds, to be exact, plus three flavors of milk—vanilla, chocolate and strawberry.

Also at the festival, Cookie Monster hung out with The Comedians stars Josh Gad and Billy Crystal.
