Expect "Courage, Honor, Loyalty, Sacrifice." And we're ready for all of it!

Captain America: Civil War is set to begin shooting in April, and we've got some new details (with some spoilers, natch) on the action-packed flick starring Chris Evans.

The plot, which transitions from the upcoming Marvel's Avengers: Age of Ultron, is based on a 7-part comic series from Mark Millar that pits Cap against one of his closest allies, Iron Man.

In the casting announcement, the synopsis says, "Following the events of Age of Ultron, the collective governments of the world pass an act designed to regulate all superhuman activity. This polarizes opinion amongst the Avengers, causing two factions to side with Iron Man or Captain America, which causes an epic battle between former allies."

Of course, we can all look forward to Evans reprising his role as Steve Rogers and Robert Downey Jr. putting on his body armor suit to play Tony Stark.

"I'm crazy about Evans," Downey Jr. revealed to Empire Online about why he signed on for the film. "I think Chris [Evans] has been hungry to bring even more of an underside and some shadow to that. I remember the comics—on the surface you got the sense that Cap was baseball and apple pie, but underneath there was all this churning stuff of being a man out of time."

The film will also star Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Anthony Mackie as Falcon and Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye.

The expected release date is May 6, 2016.
