Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles' United States' visit has been brief, but it's certainly been busy!
The royals have been all over Washington, D.C., checking out the city's historic monuments, and they're planning to drop by the Oval Office this afternoon for a visit with President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden. America is pulling out all the stops for Charles and Camilla, yet understandably, they're a bit preoccupied with some upcoming happenings going on across the pond...
That means, of course, the birth of Kate Middleton and Prince William's second child, which Prince George's mum revealed yesterday is expected to happen sometime between the "mid-to-end" of April. While in D.C. Thursday, NBC News' Peter Alexander asked the future king, "Prince Charles, are you excited to be a grandfather again?"
Charles responded with a grin on his face, "Oh, yes!"
He's proved himself to be quite popular with the kids on this trip, too! If you watch the video above, you'll see Charles warmly greeting a cheering group of teenagers. "I was like. 'Can I have a hug?'" one 13-year-old girl told NBC News, "And he's like [shrug], 'Sure, OK, yeah.'"
When this young lady was asked if this "royal hug" made her "into a princess," she giggled before saying, "It better!"
There could be a real little princess in Charles' life very soon, or there could be another little prince. Just like they did with Prince George, Kate and Wills are not finding out their baby-to-be's gender until the moment he or she finally arrives!
Speaking of which, don't worry too much about Charles and Camilla possibly missing their royal grandchild's arrival. They're heading to Louisville, Ky., on Friday, but then it's back to the U.K., where they should have plenty of time to help prepare for the family's newest addition to arrive!
