"He was like, 'Uh-oh!'"

That was Willow Shields' impression of Mark Ballas when he learned he was paired with The Hunger Games' starlet on this season of Dancing With the Stars. Why? Because at just 14 years old, she's the ABC hit's youngest competitor ever!

Of course, she was mostly joking, as Ballas tells E! News he's "taught kids as young as nine" how to dance, but never at this level or intensity. Or when they were actually forced to take breaks, which the fan-favorite pro has dubbed "snack time!"

Not a fan of snack time? Willow!

"I get mad when I have to have snack time…because I'm 14, I'm forced to have breaks and school time and snack time," she explains to E! News during a break from her rehearsals for Monday's show.

And sadly, the one kind of break Willow would like isn't allowed, as she jokingly tells us, "I wish there was a nap time. I asked if I could have a nap time and they said, 'No, there's only snack time.' So it turns out I'm not in  pre-school, but for a second I thought I was!"

And the duo went on to tell a hilarious story about why her dad had to interrupt one of their more intense rehearsal sessions, which you can hear by pressing play on the video above. Plus, the DWTS pair dishes on their routine for Monday and how Willow's age is impacting Mark's choreography. And we find out that one of them actually requested the other as a partner!

DWTS airs Mondays at 8 p.m. on ABC.
