We know there are some of you out there who haven't quite gotten over the death of Will Gardner. And that's OK. It was traumatic, that's for sure. (Technically Charles' last episode was "The Last Call," which aired on March 30, 2014, but his character kicked the bucket on the 23rd.)
"I would say I understand their pain," Julianna Margulies told E! News on the PaleyFest red carpet when asked what she would say to fans still not over Will's death. "I miss him, I miss working with Josh every day and I miss Alicia's—even though it was unhealthy—I miss her interactions with him. I felt like it was the most honest interactions she's had with anyone and it was the most she felt herself. So I understand their pain, that's what I would say."
It's been a year and Alicia Florrick is still struggling with it, as seen in "Mind's Eye" when Will's voice came back to haunt her—yes that really was Josh Charles' voice—but maybe things would be easier if he was actually eulogized. Maybe?
Viewers only saw Diane (Christine Baranski) and Alicia (Margulies) after the funeral when they bonded over martinis. It was amazing. So how would Cary (Matt Czuchry) have said goodbye? And what do they say to fans still mourning? Click play on the video above.
