The pregnant 19 Kids and Counting star, 23, and her hubby, 26, are due next week, and the first-time parents-to-be couldn't be any more excited. Jill and Derick are just days away (or possibly weeks away, depending on when their little boy decides to arrive) from becoming parents, and a source tells E! News they're doing all the right things to prepare.
Jill is "working with a midwife," says the source, which goes along with what the mama-to-be told us back in October about her plans for a home delivery. "Derick will be my coach as I like to say," she said, "so [he'll be] helping me through the process."
That shouldn't be a problem, either. A source tells E! News Derick "always has his arm around [Jill] and you can tell they are one."
"You can tell they are very happy," adds the source of the twosome, describing them as "humble people."
Jill has been eating healthfully and even continuing with moderate exercise to benefit the baby, says a source, who spotted her recently at a local gym. "She will be an amazing mom," gushes an insider. "She is so patient, kind and very loving, and she has had a lot of practice [with siblings]!"
Jill and Derick are both open to the idea of having a big family, too. "We're open to as many children as God will give us," she told People last year. "We believe children are a blessing from the Lord and a gift from him."
