You already knew pregnancy wasn't going to stop Bethany Hamilton from hitting the surf!

The 25-year-old pro surfer, who lost her left arm in a shark attack in 2003, and her hubby Adam Dirks announced they are expecting their first child in January, and just a few months later, Hamilton was spotted taking her baby bump out for a ride on the waves.

Wearing an athletic black bikini that accentuated her six-month tummy, Bethany took her surfboard and dominated the water off a beach in Kauai, Hawaii.

The happy couple revealed the exciting news through a cute video message.

"So we have a little surprise for you...baby on board!" the pregnant star said in their joint announcement video online. "She's pregnant!" Dirks added.

"In baby terms I'm about 22 weeks, which is about halfway there," Hamilton explained. "It's been a pretty crazy last four months finding out that we're gonna be parents. Life's kinda gonna be changing and kinda just starting to prep for bringing a new little being into the world. It's all really exciting."

While they didn't reveal the baby name, Dirks did reveal, "We found out it's a boy so we're looking for boy names. We've got a few in mind."

And Hamilton added that she's going to continue surfing throughout her pregnancy until she absolutely can't anymore.

"I plan to surf as long as I can. Once the belly's pretty big maybe just like mellow it out and spend more time swimming and just enjoying the ocean and doing other activities."

Hamilton and Dirks married back in August 2013 during an intimate Hawaiian ceremony near their home.
