After a shocking betrayal by her best friend and her husband, Robert "Mutt" Lange, Shania Twain has found new love and a new lease on life thanks to her second marriage. But that doesn't mean she has totally let go of what happened in the past.

Appearing on Watch What Happens Live alongside Penn Badgley, the country singer played a game of Plead the Fifth, in which she gets asked three questions and can only stay silent on one. When asked what she would say to Marie-Anne Thiebaud, her former best friend who allegedly had an affair with Lange, if she were to run into her, she had to answer because she had already pleaded the fifth on a prior question.

"I wish I'd never met you," Shania confessed to host Andy Cohen in response to his question.

Shania and Mutt divorced after 14 years of marriage in 2008, leaving Shania devastated and left to put the pieces back together. But after several years and one awkward run-in with her former assistant, the "From This Moment On" singer has found happiness, ironically with Marie-Anne's former husband, Frédéric Thiebaud.

Shania's answer notably comes years after she actually ran into Marie-Anne and ended freezing up at the sight of her.

"I had a total panic attack," Twain had said at the time. "I just told her that she was a bad person—that's all I could get out!"

But in hindsight she realized that while she wishes she had never known her, she also admitted to Andy that she wouldn't say she would necessarily be "better off" having not known "the other woman."

"I think I've learned a lot from all that," she told the WWHL host. "I don't regret it, but I think that's how I would've answered the question."

Although she has remained out of the spotlight for quite some time now, Shania surprised fans when she announced on Good Morning America that she would be going on tour again! But the news might be bittersweet to some because it'll be her final one.

"I'm finally, after 11 years, I'm going back on tour," Twain announced. "It's been along time. Eleven years. Finally going back on the road.

"This is going to be a big, big tour for me because it's going to be my last," she added. "This is my last tour. I'm going to make the most of it, let's put it that way."
