Keith Urban, Jennifer Lopez, Harry Connick Jr., American Idol

Michael Becker/FOX

Hard to believe we've already reached the finalist stage of another season of American Idol, but here we are!

That was probably a pretty stressful night for a lot of those contestants, because all of the top 16 singers were brought out on stage. The top 12 were then announced one at a time, with each finalist immediately having to perform. The eliminated contestants didn't find out that they were eliminated until the very end, when Ryan Seacrest called the last finalist.

So basically, if it had been us, you would have seen us melt into a puddle on that stage. We don't know how these kids do it, to be quite honest.

Anyway, without further ado, your top 12 are:

1.       Sarina-Joi Crowe
2.       Rayvon Owen
3.       Daniel Seavey
4.       Maddie Walker
5.       Tyanna Jones
6.       Nick Fradiani
7.       Jax Cole
8.       Qaasim Middleton
9.       Clark Beckham
10.   Joey Cook
11.   Quentin Alexander
12.   Adanna Duru

The top ten advanced because of votes, while Quentin Alexander and Adanna Duru moved on thanks to judges Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban, and Harry Connick Jr. who chose them as their wildcard picks.

Unfortunately, that meant that we had to say goodbye to Mark Andrew, Adam Ezegelian, Loren Lott, and Alexis Gomez, and we'll be saying goodbye to another contestant tomorrow night, when the top 12 is narrowed down to 11.

Voting is already open, so get to it! Then tune into Fox tomorrow night to find out who moves on, and to catch a special performance by Empire's Jussie Smollett and Bryshere Gray (yasssss)

American Idol airs on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 8 p.m. on Fox.

Did your favorites make it through? Do you think you would have survived that announcement process? Sound off in the comments!
