Celebrity style can span the spectrum.

That said, there are a few items that many a star favor. Some transcend crazes and are classic, even iconic symbols of status; some just work well; and others simply feel damn good.

What does it take to look like a celebrity? Truth: an entire glam squad. But how do you feel like a million bucks? Well, one must reach all the pillars of celebrity style—the must-haves the rich and famous swear by.

Mother Denim: There's a vast array of premium denim for our stars to choose from, but Mother Denim, at a few hundred dollars, aims to flatter all curves—or lack thereof—with super-soft, technologically advanced fabric. You'll find Emily Blunt, Jennifer Garner and Jennifer Lopez in different washes.

Nudist Sandal: Stuart Weitzman's simple, sleek 4.5-inch high heels have been a red carpet staple for a few seasons now. Celebs like Naya Rivera, Diane Kruger and Emmy Rossum have been spotted wearing them. The shoes, ranging from $395-$475, are known for being as comfortable as red carpet stilettos get and match with pretty much anything.

Jennifer Meyer jewelry: This accessories maker hasn't made a name for herself for being Tobey Maguire's wife, but for slinging dainty, delicate gems that stars like Courteney Cox, Kate Moss and Naomi Watts can wear every day. These tiny jewels range from the low hundreds into the thousands.

Eve Lom products: There is a plethora of high-end skin care products worth a prettier penny. Even though a roughly 3oz bottle of cleanser ringing in at $83 isn't cheap, its softening properties are worth its weight in gold. Stars like Kate Hudson and Uma Thurman are reportedly fan. Even E! News' Zanna Roberts Rassi is a constant user of its TLC cream. "It's a hug in a jar for my dry skin," she told E! News.

Eugenia Kim hat: Whether it's Beyoncé's beanie or a red carpet-worthy fedora, celebs love sporting a Eugenia Kim topper. They especially adore the wide-brimmed floppy iterations—to hide from paparazzi, we suspect.

Birkin bag: The Hermès handbag named after British actor and singer Jane Birkin is arguably the most recognizable accessory of all time. Starting at $10,000 and going into the millions, the bag is often produced in limited quantities and design, making it all the more exclusive. There are oftentimes wait lists to secure a particular bag, as referenced in Sex and the City and films like Le Divorce. Fans include Victoria Beckham, Olivia Palmero and pretty much the whole cast of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

Spanx: It's the smoothing shapewear that started it all. Once celebs got a hold of these undergarments that not only tighten but define your shape, unrealistic body image standards flew that much further out of reach. Some even go so far as wearing double Spanx, admitted E! News correspondent Alicia Quarles.

Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Skin Protectant Cream: We think $21 is an affordable price to pay for a light-weight moisturizer that claims to help soothe and help chapped, dry skin—especially if that skin belongs to Natalie Portman, Vanessa Hudgens and—let's be real—us. It's also a backstage staple at fashion shows, used to help enhance makeup looks.
