Person of Interest's Sarah Shahi Welcomes Twins With Husband Steve Howey: Find Out Their Son and Daughter's Names!

Actress and the Shameless star married in 2009 and are also parents of 5-year-old son William

We've got some new babies of interest to tell you about!

Person of Interest's Sarah Shahi and her Shameless star husband Steve Howey are the proud parents of twins, CBS confirmed to E! News Friday.

Shahi gave birth to son Knox Blue and daughter Violet Moon at their Los Angeles home on March 1. The duo join big brother William Wolf (who was also born at home), 5, in the family fold.

So, in case you had been wondering why assassin turned key team member Sameen Shah really went MIA this season from her hit show...Shahi was getting ready for kids No. 2 and 3. Per the network, she is expected to return to Person of Interest when her schedule permits.

Shahi and Howey, who plays Kev on Showtime's Shameless, tied the knot in Las Vegas in 2009.

Talking about the reason she chose a literal homecoming for her first child, Shahi told People  (which was first with the dual-arrival news today) in 2010, "I had a home birth because I really believe in the body's natural ability to give birth. The medical profession has kind of warped women's minds into thinking we don't know how to birth and we need doctors and epidurals and Pitocin."

"I never thought I would be one of those wacky chicks who say, ‘I loved my labor,' but I loved every part of it. It was the best day of my life,'" she said.

And to think, this past Sunday was twice as eventful. Congratulations to the whole family!
