Hillary Clinton might have landed in hot water over using her personal email for work, but she isn't ignoring it!

The former Secretary of State turned to Twitter to address her email faux pas and let her followers know that she won't be hiding her correspondence. In fact, she's doing the opposite!

Her spokesman, Nick Merrill, told NBC News in a statement that Clinton followed the "spirit of the rules" and had every intention that her emails "would be retained" because she was communicating with government officials on their professional accounts.

"Both the letter and spirit of the rules permitted State Department officials to use non-government email, as long as appropriate records were preserved," he said in the statement. "As a result of State's request for our help to make sure they in fact were, that is what happened here. As the Department stated, it is in the process of updating its record preservation policies to bring them in line with its retention responsibilities."

It looks like Bill Clinton's wife truly has nothing to hide, although we would like to see if she has any adorable photos of her new granddaughter, Charlotte, on her personal email LOL. Jokes aside, Clinton has remained in good spirits despite the scandal she is working her way through. While speaking at EMILY's List 30th Anniversary Gala in Washington, D.C. Wednesday, the 67-year-old mocked her signature pantsuits (so maybe no jokes aside!).

"Over the years people have read a lot of different things into my pantsuits," said Clinton (per Hello!), who ironically was wearing a deep purple pantsuit. "Despite what you might think, this outfit is not actually white and gold."

Of course, her "white and gold" comments reference the dress that went viral earlier this week, dividing the Internet and pretty much the whole world. Was it blue and black? Was it white and gold? While most saw white and gold, the dress turned out to be blue and black!

She continued to show that her potential security breach controversy wasn't going to bring her down, as Hillary also teased the crowd with her potential presidential candidacy by asking if the people would like to see a female in the Oval Office.
