Sherlock Holmes is ready to solve one last mystery.

The first trailer for Mr. Holmes has finally arrived and loyal fans of Sir Ian McKellen will be happy to know he's not done solving crimes just yet.

Instead, "there's one mystery left to solve. His own." Dun, dun, dunnn.

Before the elderly detective digs into an unsolved case involving a mysterious young woman, McKellen begins to spend a lot of his time with a curious young boy played by Milo Parker

While the inquisitive youngster is deeply intrigued by the detective's life, McKellen is a bit more focused on trying to remember a few clues that could crack the final mystery.

Set in 1947, the unlikely duo manages to spend plenty of time together in a remote countryside where they gather bees and enjoy company from their housekeeper (Laura Linney).

"Sherlock Holmes as you've never seen him," McKellen shared with his fans on social media when revealing the trailer. "Coming to cinemas this Summer."

And while the sneak peek shows no visible signs of Patrick Stewart, we're more than hoping McKellen's BFF will show up in a surprise cameo. Have you seen their bromance, lately? It's something special, folks.
