Time to make some room on your DVR's, fellow TV fans, because USA Network's new action thriller Dig is about to become one of your favorite shows!
The murder mystery series set in Jerusalem begins when FBI agent Peter Connelly (Jason Isaacs) takes a job in Israel, and after a young American girl is murdered, his investigation takes him deep into a conspiracy that has been in the works for thousands of years that could bring about the end of days. The action is thrilling, the conspiracies are exciting, and the stakes are high.
Isaacs and his onscreen love interest/boss Anne Heche can't wait for viewers to finally see the show on which they've been working hard for months.
Since both Isaacs and Heche play FBI agents, they had to research and prepare to take on that kind of a role. Isaacs actually trained with the real FBI, while Heche…trained in a very different way.
"I went and trained with the FBI for months," Isaacs said. "They give you a gun and you run around and look tough." Heche added, "You know what I did? Paintball!"
Press play on the video above now to hear all about how Isaacs and Heche prepped for their roles, plus what else viewers can expect from the new series.
Dig premieres Thursday, March 5 at 10 p.m. on USA Network.
(E! and USA Network are both part of the NBCUniversal family.)
