Looks like Victoria Beckham's latest look book may be her most controversial yet.

The Victoria, Victoria Beckham catalogue, which features fashions from the 2015 autumn/winter season, has been unveiled, and while the styles are undoubtedly stunning, the images are garnering attention for a very different reason

Namely, the models appear unconscious in the pics and look as if they are playing dead.

Shot by photographer Colin Dodgson, the photographs are said to draw upon the controversial "heroin chic" trend, which catapulted supermodel Kate Moss to stardom in the '90s.

"For the past four seasons, we have invited a photographer to interpret the Victoria Victoria Beckham collection according to their own creative vision for the look book imagery," a rep for Victoria Beckham tells E! News. "This season we worked with a photographer who has a particular, idiosyncratic style of photography, to shoot the AW15 collection within this series. "

Known for her minimalistic style and her simple atheistic, the campaign is certainly a departure from Beckham's previous, although the fashionista earned rave reviews for her AW15 collection, which she recently showcased at New York Fashion Week with her famous (and ridiculously good-looking) family in attendance.

According to the label, the collection is described as "free spirited and fun—key features are made of classic fabrics such as ginghams, tweeds and leathers, which are twisted and played with to create new and modern statements."

"Colors are vibrant and strong—shocking pink, electric blue and blood red are set against monochrome black and white—all adding to the strong yet still feminine silhouettes."

However, the images don't appear to share that free-spirited sentiment, as one pic sees a model lying lifeless on the floor with her eyes closed while another looks as if the model is unconscious, letting her head hang over a chair.

As Grazia points out, this isn't the first time lifeless models have been featured in a fashion campaign. The images for Marc Jacobs Spring Summer 2014 line, starring Miley Cyrus, also saw supermodels posing as corpses.

Since the launch of her eponymous fashion label in 2008, the 40-year-old mother of four has become a notable fixture on the fashion front, and in September 2014, David Beckham's wife launched her first store on London's Dover Street.
