Looks like someone's itching to act again!

Jordin Sparks wants a role on Fox's hit show Empire and she's making active efforts to achieve that goal. During an exclusive interview with E! News, the season-six American Idol winner gave a shout-out to the show's creators lobbying for a cameo.

Are you listening, Lee Daniels?

The 25-year-old said the show is "so good" and revealed she already knows several people on the cast.

She also shared her thoughts about the future of the musical drama, "With the way it's going, I'm pretty sure they are going to have multiple seasons."

As the hour-long family drama nears its finale with promises to be insanely entertaining, there may just be another role added to the early renewed second season to make the steamy plot thicken even more.

Sparks confessed her hopes as far as a character goes, "I don't know what my story would be, who I would fall in love with, but I would love to do that absolutely."

Despite her eagerness to be on the show, that's not the only idea the songstress is interested in.

When asked about an Empire and American Idol crossover, she said, "You know, I think that would be interesting. That's also another facet of the business that I think the contestants should learn, I think that would be great."

However, the "Double Tap" singer does worry about favoritism if a hybrid of the two hit TV programs does get placed into action.

The brunette beauty noted, "So if one contestant does it and gets the exposure over here on Empire, they should all get it. So I don't know, that's gonna be tricky. But if they could pull it off that would be really cool...It would be a great opportunity for them."

Either way, we'll be keeping a lookout for Jordin alongside Cookie and Lucious on the next season of the hip-hop soap opera!
