Blood must have blood!

The 100's war between the Grounders and Sky People vs. Mount Weather has slowly built all season long, and tonight, the battle at Mount Weather finally begins in part one of the epic two-part season two finale. And we've got your exclusive first look at moments right before the Grounders attack Mount Weather.

Press play on the video above to watch the tense and powerful scene now!

These. Leaders. Are. So. Fierce! Clarke (Eliza Taylor) has learned so much about being a ruthless leader from the Grounder Commander Lexa (Alycia Debnam-Carey) already, but have the choices she's made come at a personal price?

"There is a point where you can go too far, and we'll see if that happens," executive producer Jason Rothenberg tells E! News. "We'll see if Clarke is able to find that point and pull herself back from it or if she's in fact driven to the end of the line."

Lexa is committed to doing whatever she needs to do in order to save her people from the terror of the Mountain Men, and Clarke will need to decide if she's ready to do that as well.

"Lexa has such a thirst for success," Debnam-Carey tells E! News. "She's driven and powerful, and is hungry for justice so she really feels, going into this, she is all in. She's been ready for this for a while. But she is still very pragmatic and logical and good at adapting, so if things change, she's ready for anything."

She continues, "Lexa's main responsibility has always been keeping her people safe. Her ruthlessness, her rationality, her cold-heartedness all stems from protecting the people she loves. And that's Clarke's goal as well. Ultimately, all things are put aside for this battle. This is what we've been preparing for all season and it's finally here."

And that means that hot kiss these two fierce leaders shared in last week's episode is going to be pushed to the backs of both of their minds as they prepare for the bloody battle ahead.

"It's a lovely new dynamic for them to explore and I think it's such a wonderful development between two young characters that you don't really get to see a lot of on TV shows," Debnam-Carey says. "But that's not the biggest priority for them in the finale. It definitely takes a backseat for both of them as they work towards this goal they've been working to for a while. That comes first and they're both hoping it turns out well so they can have a relationship after, or at least in Lexa's eyes."

That being said, a lot of fans definitely want to see their relationship explored more once all the drama dies down...while some other very specific fans are passionately against it.

"I know that some 'Bellarke' shippers were pretty offended by it, but I've seen a lot of love for it too," Debnam-Carey says with a laugh. "The kiss came from a real place. It's not like the fans just wanted it and so it happened. Clarke and Lexa have deeply connected experiences and past lives. They've both lost loved ones—Clarke lost Finn, Lexa lost Costia—and they both have to lead their people, and make a lot of hard choices that most young people their age don't really have to. So to be able to find comfort and solace in someone who shares the same similar background is lovely, and that's why the dynamic works so well. There's real emotion and trust there, it's not just gratuitous sex."

But Rothenberg is quick to remind fans tuning in to the two-part season finale that any relationship drama is going to pale in comparison to the twists coming up. Remember last season finale's "white room" reveal? That's going to seem like nothing compared to what's coming!

"We are going to get another major cliffhanger with a world-changing reveal at the end of the season," Rothenberg reveals. "That's what we do! For me, I get bored when a story stays the same. My intention with this show is to continue to peel the layers of this world and reveal more and more of what's out there."

But Rothenberg isn't spilling any teasers or spoilers about what to expect in the final moments of the finale, except that whatever it is will set up season three's major arc.

"Chapter two, this season, was about Mount Weather. Chapter three will be about something else," Rothenberg says. "The Mount Weather story we're telling fairly thoroughly just like we told the story of the drop ship in season one and the arrival of the 100. Season three will be its own thing which will be very different from season two. And yes, we plan on setting that up at the end of this season."

The 100 season finale part one airs tonight, with part two airing next Wednesday at 9 p.m. on the CW.
