Chad Michael Murray and Sarah Roemer's firstborn child hasn't arrived yet, but they're getting plenty of parenting practice taking care of their fur babies!

The Agent Carter star, 33, and his pregnant wife, 30, stepped out Tuesday in Studio City, Calif., with their two dogs in tow. Sarah dressed her burgeoning baby bump in an oversized gray sweater, which she paired with slouchy jeans, sneakers, sunglasses and a cute beanie hat. Dad-to-be Chad looked effortlessly cool in burgundy pants, which he matched with a casual gray sweater, puffy jacket, aviator shades and a blue hat with a buffalo silhouette.

Earlier this month in an interview with E! News, Chad let it slip that he and his Chosen co-star are expecting a baby boy. "I'm a respect first kind of guy, so I think certain things that I want my son to have is just respect and just to be a kind human being," he said. "I'm a big sports guy, an outdoorsy guy, so I'll be having him fishing at 5, 6...[I want] to take him kayaking and hiking. I just keep thinking in my head, just trying to create 6-foot-5 quarterback."

Back in January, before E! News was first to report Chad and Sarah's baby news, the former One Tree Hill star revealed that starting a family was "definitely in the cards."

"I think that's the No. 1 priority in my life," he said. "I'm so blessed."

The actor, who was married to Sophia Bush from 2005 to 2006, also explained why he generally doesn't talk a whole lot about his personal life. "I'm a romantic. I'm a family guy. I want that core," he told E! News. "I tend to keep everything quiet. I love my life. That's the part that I keep for myself."

No doubt, too, he's making sure the mommy-to-be is getting plenty of R&R! "I'm a traditionalist, I'm a car door guy," he explained. "I do everything I can do treat my lady right."

Something tells us he'll pass that chivalrousness on to his son, too!
