"Check your voicemail," the singer pleads

With his Comedy Central roast weeks away, Justin Bieber has begun to troll people on Twitter.

Bieber first asked Seth Rogen to rip him a new one on Feb. 26. "I would have emailed u but this is the only electronic communication with u that doesn't scare me. Hope to see u at the roast," he tweeted. Prior to turning 21, the "Never Say Never" singer tweeted, "All I want for my birthday is for you to roast me. I took the twitter bashing please make my bday and do it in person. Thanks." Rogen didn't respond.

After celebrating his milestone birthday with Hailey Baldwin and Yovanna Ventura, Bieber reached out to Rogen again. Rogen, for his part, had only tweeted two links to Instagram since Bieber's first attempt.

"@Sethrogen come on man. Check your voicemail. I took it like a man as u blasted a nervous kid fan of yours (me). Now I'm a man. Roast me!" Bieber begged the actor, 32. "@Sethrogen I'm still your biggest fan. Even after 'the interview.' That's dedication. Roast me! Sincerely yours..the piece of s--t..justin."

Bieber's desperate plea didn't end there, of course.

"#WeWantSeth #BieberRoast," Bieber told his 61 million Twitter followers Monday. Rogen didn't reply.

Rogen explained his disdain for Bieber while talking to Howard Stern last year. "He's a good example of someone you meet, who you think you're going to hate, and then you get to hate him as much as you thought. You meet him, and he lives up to every one of your expectations of how you hope he will be." After Bieber caught wind of Rogen's interview, he tweeted, "Seth Rogan sorry I didnt bow down when I asked 2 meet u was probably a bit shy and didn't want to be over the top but still. love ur movies."

There is still time for Rogen to accept or decline Bieber's invitation, as the special doesn't tape until March 14. "I'm going to smash Bieber," roast master Kevin Hart promised on On Air With Ryan Seacrest Feb. 17. "It's going to be a tough day for Biebs. The good news is that he knows I love him. The good news is that he knows I'm a real friend, so it's no-holds-barred. I get to let loose. It's going to be dope."

Can Bieber handle Hart's humor? "He's 100 percent nervous," the Get Hard actor, 35, said. "It's not even a half-question. He's like, 'Hey, so Kev, you're going to take it easy, right?' And I said, 'Absolutely not.'"

The "Confident" singer joins a long list of celebrities who have been roasted in a Comedy Central special, including Flavor Flav, James Franco, David Hasselhoff, Roseanne, Charlie Sheen and Donald Trump.

Bieber's roast airs March 30.
