Get ready to head back to prison—and camp—by way of your TV this summer. Netflix announced the premiere dates for two of its buzziest shows, Orange Is the New Black and Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp.
Orange Is the New Black season three hits Netflix on Friday, June 12. The prequel series to Wet Hot American Summer hits on Friday, July 17. Now you have two good excuses to stay inside in the air conditioning when the weather gets too hot.
Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp features an all-star cast including: Elizabeth Banks, Michael Ian Black, Bradley Cooper, Judah Friedlander, Janeane Garofalo, Joe Lo Truglio, Ken Marino, Christopher Meloni, Marguerite Moreau, Zak Orth, Amy Poehler, David Hyde Pierce, Paul Rudd, Molly Shannon, Michael Showalter Josh Charles, Jayma Mays, John Slattery, Michaela Watkins, Lake Bell, Paul Scheer, Rob Heubel, Richard Schiff and Randall Park.
Sticking with the comedy trend this spring and summer, Netflix will roll out standup specials Chris D'Elia: Incorrigible on April 17, Jen Kirkman: I'm Gonna Die Alone (And I Feel Fine) on May 22 and What Happened, Miss Simone on June 26.
