Six years ago, a show entered the world and our hearts that left us and pop culture as a whole forever changed.
And that little-show-that-could became a worldwide phenomenon: Glee.
Fox's musical dramedy exploded onto the scene with a sneak-peek premiere months before the show actually premiered, and from that very first time we heard the New Directions take on Journey's "Don't Stop Believin'" we knew that we were hooked.
But gone are the simple days of the red shirt, jeans and converse uniformed high schoolers. In recent seasons, the productions have grown monstrously complicated and oh-so-fun to watch. The drama went from relatable to downright bananas and hilarious.
And in just a few short weeks, we'll be forced to say goodbye to Glee forever as the series finale airs, marking the true end of an era.
