FoxAfter last week's...ahem, eye-opening episode, Gotham fans have wondering where this whole Fish Mooney (Jada Pinkett Smith) storyline is going.
First, she finds herself making a power grab in some basement prison, becoming an almost cult-like leader of all the prisoners. Then, she continues to rise in power, meeting the prison/building's "manager," until finally she realizes she played her hand too soon and...gouged out her own eyeball! What?!
The violent act came about as a way for Fish to take back control of her fate, presumably because she knew if she didn't take and destroy her own eye, someone else—Dr. Dulmacher, aka DC Comics' iconic villain the Dollmaker (Colm Feore)—would do it for her.
So you can imagine our surprise when we watched this exclusive sneak peek of tonight's episode of Gotham, because it turns out that Fish Mooney is about to team up with the Dollmaker!
After all of that eye-gouging and threats and power plays, these two baddies are going to make an unholy alliance to do...something sinister, no doubt. We don't know exactly what these two villains want or are going to attempt to do, but whatever it is, it can't be good.
As if Det. Jim Gordon (Ben McKenzie) didn't have enough on his plate already trying to clean up the corruption and evil in Gotham!
