Brace yourselves moviegoers, another dose of MacGruber may be on its way.

Almost five years after the popular Saturday Night Live skit was turned into a motion picture, Will Forte is giving fans hope that a sequel could be coming sooner rather than later.

"We're absolutely gonna write the s--t out of that thing as soon as we have time," Forte revealed Saturday during a Reddit AMA. "And we will start to have time in a few weeks."

He added, "Thanks for your patience. Already have a great outline in the works."

The action comedy centered around the world's worst bomb specialist brought Forte, Ryan Phillippe and Kristen Wiig together in hopes of preventing Val Kilmer's character from blowing up Washington D.C.

"I've been working my balls off on Last Man on Earth so I haven't had time to do anything else really," Forte explained when asked why it has taken so long. "But gonna go do a part in Adam Sandler's movie Ridiculous 6 on Tuesday and then starting writing MacG2!"

How can we be upset with that answer?!

While taking questions from fans, Forte also looked back on some of the best moments from his 10 years on SNL.

Although he had countless LOL-worthy skits, there are a few he can't help but wish he was a part of.

"Cowbell is one of my favorites," he shared with one follower when asked about his favorite sketches he wasn't in. "Chris Farley's Chippendales dancer. Unfrozen Caveman Lawyer. Debbie Downer."

Luckily, he got to work with brilliant people along the way that helped him become funnier every year.

"So many people. Bruce Dern, Kristen Wiig, Jorma Taccone, John Solomon, Will Ferrell, Patti Forte," he shared. "I'm sure I'm forgetting a million but these were the people that jumped out."
