HBONot every poster for a TV show is good. In fact, most of them are pretty terrible.
As in, laugh-out-loud-at-the-horrible-Photoshop-job terrible.
But Game of Thrones just won our (totally unofficial) contest for the best official key art with its poster for the upcoming season five of the HBO hit series...because it's the coolest poster we've ever seen.
It's epic, it's dark, it's mysterious and it's got dragons! You can't argue with dragons. Dragons win every time.
But the thing about the poster that has us really excited? The fact that Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage) is the one coming face-to-face with one of Daenerys Targaryen's (Emilia Clarke) fully grown dragons!
Are we finally going to get the scene we've been waiting years to see?! Are Tyrion and Dany going to be in the same scene together?!
Thankfully, we don't have to wait long to find out, since season five's premiere isn't all that far away anymore. Game of Thrones' 10-episode new season kicks off in less than two months! But if you can't wait that long for new footage, check out two never-before-seen deleted season-four scenes.
Here's what we know about season five so far: The show will be incorporating flashbacks for the first time, as the show recently casted the younger version of Cersei (Lena Headey). Another first? Lost alum Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje will play an original character, one not featured in George R.R. Martin's series. Two faces fans won't be seeing in season five? Isaac Hempstead-Wright (Bran Stark) and Kristian Nairn (Hodor), who won't appear at all. That's OK, since a whole slew of new faces will be introduced.
