When the Fifty Shades of Grey book series became popular, there were all kinds of anecdotes about formerly reserved wives and mothers feeling the itch to, er, liven up their activity in the bedroom. Call it Fifty Shades syndrome, if you will. We can't say how much of those desires actually made it to fruition, but if the proliferation of sex toy injuries is any indication, the phenomenon wasn't just in readers' minds.

And if you thought that the uptick in kink was going to slow just like the movie's box office sales, well, you were wrong.

We present to you: Whiplr. It is basically Tinder for Fifty Shades of Grey enthusiasts. According to Cosmopolitan, it's similar to other dating apps, where it pulls in users near your location, but this one doesn't offer any personal information. Oh, and its sole purpose is to find kinky sex partners. Basically, you specify what...stuff...you're looking to try out, and the app matches you to people with similar interests. Whiplr is marketing itself as the safer alternative to Craigslist personal ads (although, to be fair, it's not hard to be safer than Craigslist).

The app is free to download, but we should warn you: There's a very slim chance that your matches will look anything like Jamie Dornan
