Jeff Kravitz/FilmMagicZedd has his bladder to thank for this one.
The EDM producer spoke to AMP Radio's morning program in Los Angeles with host Booker to talk his brand new single, "I Want You To Know," featuring Selena Gomez, and during their chat, the 25-year-old recalled the moment he met the brunette beauty.
And it's a pretty funny story.
"I had the day off and I decided to go buy stuff for my house because I just moved… and I had to pee and I had my engineer with me so I was like, ‘I hope they have a bathroom there.' He was like, just go to the studio over there," Zedd began to explain.
"So I walk in and John, the head of our label, who had just signed Selena, was there…he was like, have you ever met Selena? So he introduced me to her, and was like hey, she's cool, maybe we should make a song together. And then like a week later, we start working on a song together."
Not only that, but the duo ended up spending quite a bit of time together, and even started sparking some romance rumors.
The pair just recently released the highly anticipated track, and Zedd told Booker there's more to look forward to—meaning, the music video, of course.
"Yes, I will be in the video actually… and it will come out very soon," he replied. Zedd also mentioned that the video has been shot already, and that "there for sure is a plot, but we can't tell you about that. We want it to be a surprise."
Oh, the suspense!
