The DJ is playing Van Morrison's "Brown Eyed Girl" and if this strikes a chord with any of you ladies, feel free to sha la la, la la, la la, la la, l-la te da your way to the dance floor.

You never know if your fellow brown eyed girls Jessica Alba, Eva Mendes or Emma Watson might join you.

There are many awesome things about having a set of deeply-hued, mysterious eyes. For one, they're an amalgamation between multiple colors, so many shades of shadow can complement them.

To help you narrow down your options, we're giving you the best of the best to really make your peepers pop.

There isn't just one type of brown eye color in the world. Some people have irises so dark, that the pupil can barely be seen. Others have yellow tints that make eyes appear more hazel, and then there are those with rich mahogany browns that reflect a lot of red.

Whatever your 50 shades of brown are, find the dominant color in your eyes and take a look at the color wheel. Cross colors on the chart tend to be the most complementary for any eye shade.

Another great way to accentuate your eye looks is to go for the gold—or silver, or any metallics for that matter. Shimmering, light reflecting colors can make brown eyes really stand out and give them a jewel-like quality. You don't just have to limit yourself to only eyeshadow in these shades. Try experimenting with eyeliner and you might notice a big difference in your makeup game.

To truly give your windows to the soul an amazing contrast, try cobalt, navy, deep forest green or eggplant tones. A full smoky eye in any of these hues can strikingly play up an evening look.

You can also weave these complimentary colors into your makeup repertoire via liner for daytime. We recommend lining the lash line with a jewel-toned color and smudging it out for a soft finish.

If you want to go for a more low-pro color pop, try using navy or eggplant mascaras on the lashes.

If you want a look that's more au natural, then neutrals and warm tones are excellent for this eye color. Taupes, browns, bronzes and peaches are perfect ways to keep it simple while showcasing those peepers. Try using a neutral cream shadow with a brown gel liner smudged out for an easy bedroom eye.

Some people can forget how hypnotic deep brown eyes can really be, but with a few of these tips, your eyes will be hard to forget!
