Madonna took the stage tonight at the 2015 Brit Awards in London, and at some point during her (probably amazing) performance, the most awful thing happened—she ate it. Hard. She ate it so hard, you guys.
It's not completely clear what happened, but basically, the 56-year-old was belting out her song while standing on a podium that was surrounded by her dancers, and then there's a gust of a wind. Her cape flies back and apparently she followed, falling over a few steps and landing on her back. So. Much. Ouch!
It almost seems as though she was supposed to do a trust fall and get caught by one of her dancers behind her, but that obviously didn't happen or that she was trying to loosen the cape so it could get yanked off (not with) her. (Regardless, someone's gonna get itttttt...)
Regardless of her serious tumble, Madonna continued to be the badass that she is. The iconic singer picked herself up after her fall and proceeded to finish the performance. She also let fans know via Instagram that she's OK.
"Armani hooked me up! My beautiful cape was tied too tight! But nothing can stop me and love really lifted me up! Thanks for your good wishes! I'm fine! #livingforlove," she wrote.
