Julie Andrews and spanking...two things you probably didn't imagine to read in one sentence. Yet here we are.
After an eventful night at the 2015 Oscars, the iconic actress and singer stopped to chat with Kelly Ripa for Live! With Kelly and Michael's annual after-Oscar special, which aired this morning, and the blond beauty asked Andrews if she'd ever seen Fifty Shades of Grey.
Spoiler alert—she hasn't.
"This is Gelman's tribute to that movie," Ripa tells the 79-year-old celeb while gesturing to a room that is off-camera. "This is the Red Room. We made a Red Room back here...We're not gonna spank anybody here," she continued.
That's when Julie Andrews, once again, Julie Andrews, offered this gem: "Oh, well. I'd like it if you would."
Ooooh, girl, you bad.
Fraulein Maria, er, Julie Andrews made a surprise appearance at the Academy Awards last night after Lady Gaga belted her heart out on stage for the 50th anniversary tribute to The Sound of Music.
The legendary star appeared at the end of the performance to give Gaga a huge embrace, and then say a few words on her work in The Sound of Music before introducing the award for Best Original Score.
"Dear Lady Gaga, thank you for that wonderful tribute," Andrews said on stage. "It really warmed my heart. It's hard to believe that 50 years have gone by since that joyous film was released. I blinked and then suddenly here I am. I think that I do speak for everyone connected with the movie when I say we all really felt blessed to have been a part of it. And as for me, well, how lucky can a girl get?"
