Preach!

Listen, no one ever really loves watching the Oscars. Facebook gets furious. Tumblr gets snarky. And Twitter has feelings about everything. Literally everything.

Fortunately for everyone on the Internet, Selma star David Oyelowo provided the perfect GIF to express their feelings about the Neil Patrick Harris-hosted 2015 Oscars thus far.

OK, so Oyelowo's epic facial and hand expression wasn't exactly in reference to the telecast, but it was from one of Harris' many bits throughout the 87th Annual Academy Awards.

The Selma star gamely took part in a bit with Harris, which tested whether or not everything truly does sound better in a British accent. Giving him the set-up of a joke, Harris let Oyelowo tell the punch line to see if it went over better with the crowd.

"This year, we said goodbye to some beloved movie franchises," Harris began, with Oyelowo eventually taking over and saying, "We saw the last ever attempt to remake Annie." Burn!

And when he first introduced Oyelowo, Harris made a snarky comment about his snub in the Best Actor category, saying, "Oh sure, now you like him," after the audience began applauding.

In his opening monologue, Harris commented on the lack of diversity within this year's nominees, saying, "Welcome to the 87th Oscars. Tonight we honor Hollywood's best and whitest—sorry, brightest."
