There was one big question on tonight's Walking Dead: Can Aaron be trusted?

While we wanted to say yes, he certainly wasn't doing his best to act trustable, especially when Rick asked him to eat the applesauce he brought before feeding it to Judith. "I hate applesauce!" he cried, while tied up, to a guy who would be totally willing to shoot him in the face, "my mom made me eat it all the time!" What are you, 12? Just eat the applesauce, dude.

To be fair though, Rick's paranoia seems to be getting the best of him. He's on his way to totally losing his mind, and not even Aaron's promise of safety, happiness and apple trees was enough to get him to loosen up even a little bit. It took a long time and a lot of convincing from mostly Michonne to get Rick to finally agree to let the group follow Aaron to his community in Alexandria, though Rick still chose to claim all of Aaron's rations as his own, just to be a jerk.

Rick's refusal to trust Aaron and follow his directions almost cost the lives of Glenn, Aaron, and Michonne when they headed down a road filled with walkers instead of the road that Aaron told them to take. They did lose their car, and Aaron's extensive license plate collection, but it also helped Aaron's case a bit. He did seem to know how to keep them alive.

We also met Aaron's boyfriend, Eric, who was rescued from some walkers by the group who did follow the directions, and boy is it nice to see a happy couple in the dark, sad world of this show.

In the end, the gang arrived at Alexandria mostly safe and sound, and for once, things are looking up. As Rick said to Michonne, when he got to Terminus and Woodbury, all he heard was silence. Here, there are the sounds of children playing and laughing. Something's gotta be wrong here, but at least for the next week, we can just pretend that Alexandria really is the dream world Aaron described it as.
