Award shows are famous for the unscripted moments—like this one!

Ryan Seacrest clearly wanted to have a memorable exit after his interview with Adam Levine and his wife Behati Prinsloo on E!'s Live From the Red Carpet today ahead of the 2015 Oscars, especially since their chest bump from the Golden Globes red carpet became an Internet sensation.

So, Seacrest and Levine tried to create something even better on the spot (no pressure). What'd they come up with, you're wondering? A reverse head-butt. Yep, you read that right.

"I can't sing now," Levine joked afterward. "That's the worst exit of all time."

"It was a love tap," Seacrest said.

Adam will be taking the stage at the Oscars tonight to perform his song "Lost Stars," a gig he says he never pictured doing in his career but is excited to be a part of, nonetheless.

"It's weird because it's not on that list you make when you're dreaming of being a musician, but then again, it's kinda the coolest thing ever because not many musicians get to do it," Levine tells us.

"So, it's just incredible. I'm breathing it all in and having a good time so far."

We can't wait to see Levine perform! But until that moment, we're just going to keep re-watching that awkward reverse head-butt GIF. Excuse us.
