The Oscars are always guaranteed to be a glamourous affair—filled with touching, adorable moments that will go down in Hollywood history. But let's be real: We tune in for the gorgeous gowns.

Celebs and their stylists spend weeks prior pulling and requesting gowns from designers—even finalizing their look the day of the show. For the lucky few to get a custom creation, it's even more of a process. Just ask E! News host Catt Sadler.

The E! Style Collective member graciously shared the evolution of one of her three Oscars gowns—a stunning, rose-gold Charbel Zoe. Yes, designer of sexy, tailored-to-perfection pieces fame. Celebs like Jennifer Lopez and Shakira belong in his exclusive club of custom gown wearers. And now our girl Catt is an official card-carrying member.

Post-Golden Globes
My friend and stylist, Rebecca Jefferson, came to me immediately after the Golden Globes and was all about this designer, who honestly at the time, I hadn't heard of. She said she had just come from his showroom in LA and that we must arrange a visit. She then showed me a few of his designs worn by the one and only JLo, and well, we scheduled an appointment IMMEDIATELY.

Becca and I kept going back and forth about whether we wanted an emerald green or a rose gold beaded gown. That was always something in the forefront of our minds from the beginning. We narrowed some silhouettes down from the sketches, exchanged a few emails with Charbel and his team, and then pulled the trigger on a long-sleeve, beaded, rose-gold creation. This was really only ten days or so before Academy Award Sunday. Charbel was hand making the dress in Lebanon. The pressure was on, but the dream was alive!

I learned that I would be shooting three different shows for E on Sunday, so lucky me, I had the opportunity to wear more than one gown! This sophisticated black gown with minimal beading was a YES the second it was on my body. We knew immediately this would work into my Oscar Sunday. It just felt so very Oscars!

Fittings continued, alterations were in the works, and on the Friday before the Oscars, the dress arrived. I couldn't believe my eyes! It was perfection even on the hanger. I shimmied my way into this super tight-fitting piece of art and was in awe. In an instant, I became a princess and felt incredibly grateful for the hours and hours of work that went into this piece for me. What a talent, Charbel Zoe! BRAVO!
