So were her ex John Mayer and rumored hookup Dane Cook.

"I guess you date Jessica Simpson, that makes you fearless," quipped the quarterback.

Oh, the excruciating pain of knowing you didn't get there first.

And the complete awkwardness of cracking a joke that makes your girlfriend sound like a high-maintenance bitch.

This could only get better (for us, at least) if Nick Lachey crashed the party at Cipriani and challenged all of Jess' current and former flames to a pissing contest.
