"My son just threw all of his cars in the swimming pool and I found myself promising to dive in and retrieve them all. There must be about 52, so that will be tomorrow morning. So I think, 'OK, well that's sort of going to be like the morning wake up call.'

The English beauty, who looked stunning a floral frock, added of the A-list soiree, "That's good. And that's kind of funny! You see the sort of discrepancies between this and the image in the pool."

Pike is nominated for Best Actress for her chilling role as Amy Dunne—the wife of Ben Affleck's character Nick—in the David Fincher-directed film, which is based on the bestselling novel by Gillian Flynn

The Jack Reacher star has received endless critical acclaim for her portrayal as the stunning psychopath. She was nominated for both a Golden Globe and a Screen Actors Guild Award, although she lost both accolades to Still Alice's Julianne Moore

So, how will be former Bond girl be spending Oscar morning?
