• Amy Winehouse has been diagnosed with impetigo, a "highly contagious" bacterial skin infection that causes sores and lumps. Impetigo might be as contagious as green snot at a preschool, but Winehouse doesn't care. She's still stepping out in public because, her rep says, "She's never been one to care what people think." Putting the entire population of England in jeopardy of becoming lumpy-faced mutants? How brave of her.

• Shopping buddies Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal apparently couldn’t find what they were looking for in L.A. this weekend. So, they did what any of us would do. They headed to Burbank. Wait...no, we mean New York. They flew to New York. Just to finish up their shopping.

• Ellen DeGeneres is launching a line of organic dog food. Because every dog deserves to eat well—before being given away like a hand-me-down pantsuit.

• The French have given us outstanding wines, amazing cheeses and now beautiful nuts. Oscar winner Marion Cotillard said she believes the World Trade Center attacks were fabricated...and that man probably hasn't really walked on the moon. In related news, we believe the little gold guy the Academy gave Cotillard is really just a chocolate bunny.

• We're so happy for Paris Hilton. Seen parading around town with a shaman, the former sex-tape star is apparently seeking a path to enlightenment. Good thing that path no longer involves things like getting photographed doing strange and unpredictable things in public. Oh, how she has grown.

• Speaking of Paris, boyfriend Benji Madden's ex is speaking out, saying he didn't leave her for Hilton. "We both decided, as adults, our relationship had run its course and decided to move on," says Sophie Monk. It's very noble of Sophie to take the high road, but we hope she'll soon reconsider.
