Ellen DeGeneres manages to pry all kinds of secrets out of the usually squeaky-clean Reese Witherspoon on her show (airing Thursday).

Though it probably comes as no big shock to learn that the scoop isn't really all that incriminating as much as it is unflattering.

Reese says she was beside herself when she discovered Polaroid is discontinuing its cameras and film, especially because her kids (Ava and Deacon) love the instant gratification. Plus, it's the only way they remember her. Ouch!

Reese:  We put them up on the fridge. So we can recognize each other.
Ellen:  Because they don’t see you that much. Mommy’s not home. Mommy’s on the set all day long.
Reese:  Mommy’s at work…

And the BIG secret? Reese confesses to taking her extra trash and sneaking it into her neighbor's can if it's empty.

"I’ll wait literally until the middle of the night when the children are asleep, and I’ll take my extra garbage, and I’ll put it in the can."

C'mon, Reese. That's hardly a bad thing. Your neighbors must be stoked! Reese Witherspoon's banana peels probably go for hundreds on eBay!
