Fact: A beauty regimen should be based off your skin's needs. However, there are a few healthy habits that can benefit all.

Needing to know which are best, we turned to E! Style Collective members to get their No.1 skin care rules. They may seem simple, but these tips are effective. Better yet, they are approved by industry experts—and if celebs can put their visages in their gifted hands, we can too!

Below, a list—nay, a manifesto—to help get you premium, younger-looking skin.

Protect yourself from the sun.
"I think protecting your skin from the sun is number one," noted makeup maven Tina Turnbow. "Every client I have who has been extremely careful about staying out of the sun has the most beautiful skin!"

Avoid the tanning salon.
"Never go to the tanning bed!" said makeup artist Ashley Rebecca.

Moisturize.
"Five days before any major event, I use an anti-aging moisturizer like Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream," said Alicia Quarles. "Think of your skin care routine like a final exam when you were in high school. If you wanted to do well, you'd start studying a few days before. Your skin is the same way—it needs time to absorb all the good things."

Drink water.
"Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate!" urged hairstylist Kim Kimble. "That goes for both skin and hair. Water is so important to giving you that healthy glow, and it's a really simple (and cost-effective) lifestyle choice you can make that will have beautiful and clear results almost immediately."

Hydrate before bed.
"I drink water before I go to bed because you lose the most hydration when you're sleeping," said makeup artist Karen Sarahi Gonzalez.

Eat healthy.
"Eat one avocado a day and drink eight cups of water (plus lemon!) a day," said health expert Candice Kumai.

Remove makeup.
"Remove all of your makeup before going to bed," advised style blogger Nashelly Messina. "Not negotiable."

Wash your face.
"My number one skin care rule is that you need to make sure you wash your face every night," recommended celebrity colorist Jennifer J. "Clean skin keeps you looking younger and it allows your moisturizer to work to its maximum."

Now go and get your glow on.
