Don't get your hopes up, Real Housewives of New Jersey fans! Snooki is not—we repeat—not joining the cast of the hit Bravo reality show.
Following multiple reports and rumors that Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi was looking to join the Real Housewives cast, the 27-year-old is insisting the claims aren't true.
In addition to tweeting "I'm NOT trying to get on nj housewives like magazines are stating" the other day, the former Jersey Shore star took to her blog today to clear up the rumors and send well wishes to her pal and Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice.

But he went to visit her and he couldn't bring flowers or chocolates, which is sad. And no hugging or kissing was allowed," Snooki wrote.
"Speaking of Real Housewives of New Jersey...Remember when we were talking about the housewives and what my tag line would be? Well everybody thought that I was going to join The Real Housewives of New Jersey. It is in the freaking magazines and no it's not true, it's not happening. I don't want to be a damn housewife," she went on. "I'm a huge fan of the shows. I like it. But that's not what I want to do with my life. I HAVEN'T gotten one call from BRAVO and Andy [Cohen] made it clear on his twitter saying ‘she ain't joining' like he doesn't like me or something and the article was saying I was begging Bravo to be on the show. My f--king ass I was begging anybody. I do not want to be a housewife. Like who makes this s--t up? I really don't get it!"
