Whether he likes it or not, Hayden Christensen will always be asked the Star Wars question for the rest of his life—kind of like how Rihanna will forever be taunted about umbrellas ellas ellas.

Tucked safely away in Canada (a couple hours north of Toronto), we gotta believe Hayden speaks more honestly about his often criticized role as Anakin Skywalker in the Star Wars prequels than if he lived in the same country as Skywalker Ranch (aka George Lucas' HQ). He tells Details:

How those movies are made is very specific, as far as what our jobs are...George isn’t looking for us to come in and have script meetings with him and talk about characters.

It wasn’t necessarily anything you could feel good about creatively, as far as "This is why I became an actor." It’s not why you become an actor, to do stuff like [Star Wars].

But enough of the venom, what we really want to hear more about are his two black potbelly pigs, Buddy and Petunia, introduced in the article. Now, that is way cute.

Almost as cute as his cover.
