Watch: See 10-Year-Old Dakota Johnson Attend First Oscars

Here's something that's fifty shades of adorable for your Throwback Thursday!

Dakota Johnson, who is now an international star thanks to her leading role as Anastasia Steele in the steamy box office smash Fifty Shades of Grey, is set to present an award at Sunday's Oscars ceremony. While it will be her first time onstage at the annual event, it will not be the first time the 25-year-old actress has attended the most prestigious award show in Hollywood.

When she was 10 years old, Dakota made her Oscars debut at the 2000 Academy Awards, accompanying mom and actress Melanie Griffith and then-stepfather Antonio Banderas, who was presenting an Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film, which was won by his native Spain.

Sporting her natural dark blonde hair, styled with a curly tendril in the front, a cute, lilac satin dress and matching jacket and chunky white sandals that are so early '00s, the pint-sized girl walked the red carpet with the two and shook hands with none other than Joan Rivers. The late comedienne, veteran fashion critic and host of E!'s Fashion Police was on the red carpet interviewing celebrities at the event for E! News.

"Oh hello, Dakota. Growing up!" Rivers told the little girl. "Is this your first Academy Awards?"

The now-famous actress responded in a cute, childlike way. Watch the adorable throwback video above.

Dakota made her acting debut as a child in the 1999 movie Crazy in Alabama, which starred Griffith and was directed by Banderas. Her next onscreen role came more than a decade later—she played the (thoroughly impressed) one-night stand of Justin Timberlake's Sean Parker in the 2010 film The Social Network. Her role in Fifty Shades of Grey is her biggest yet. The R-rated movie has made more than $270 million worldwide since its Feb. 13 release.

Universal Pictures and Focus Features

Acting is in her blood: Dakota's father is Griffith's first ex-husband, actor Don Johnson. She has often accompanied both of her parents to celebrity events.

Griffith and Don were married for six months in 1976, then divorced, then remarried in 1989 and divorced after about six years. In the '80s, she was married for about five years to She's in the Army Now co-star Steven Bauer, now known for his role on Ray Donovan. They are parents to a 29-year-old son, Alexander Bauer.

Griffith and Banderas, her co-star in Too Much, wed in 1996 and share one child together, daughter Stella del Carmen Banderas, who is now 18. The actress filed for divorce last June.

In addition to Dakota, 2015 Oscars presenters includes the likes of Jennifer AnistonScarlett JohanssonLupita Nyong'oBenedict CumberbatchJared Leto, Eddie Murphy and more.
