When wrapped up in playing themselves, stars sometimes forget the little things...

Responding to the controversy drummed up by Consumer Reports, which called out Miley and Billy Ray Cyrus for not buckling up during a car ride depicted in the 3-D Disney film Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert Tour, Billy Ray tells People, "We're country..."

Just kidding! What he really said was:

"We got caught up in the moment of filming, and we made a mistake and forgot to buckle our seat belts. Seat-belt safety is extremely important."

In a blog posting Monday, Consumer Reports noted: "It seems to us that Miley, her father, and Disney had a perfect opportunity to help influence teens and counteract—rather than encourage—this trend." (Check out the full extent of the beef in our news story.)

An excellent point, but can't we focus on the positives here? The 15-year-old Miley (a) wasn't driving (b) was voluntarily going someplace with her dad and (c) was being driven to a concert—not to court, rehab or a psych evaluation.
