Rihanna stepped out in New York City on Feb. 17 wearing boots that, really, you can't miss. The singer took to the streets in towering Alexander Wang platforms that look like what would happen if Dr. Frankenstein had his way with a pair of Timberland boots. Seriously, these are more like camel suede Doc Martens than something fresh from the runway.
Wacky or not, those boats boots likely kept the singer super warm during what's said to be a frigid February in New York. She paired her platform boots with comfy Puma sweats, printed high socks and a fitted down jacket.
This isn't the singer's only notable New York Fashion Week style statement: Rihanna has been attending shows and industry events in slinky midis (like the bronze leather number she sported at the Fendi New York Flagship Boutique opening party on Feb. 13), plunging dresses (take a gander at the sexy wine-hued frock she paired with a Chanel coat for Zac Posen's presentation at Grand Central Terminal) and voluminous culottes (check the Julia Seemann get-up she wore to the Adidas Originals x Kanye West Yeezy Season presentation).
But those platform Tims kind of take the, well, cake for the "Birthday Cake" singer.
