Ashlee Simpson Is "Awesome"

Jessica's little sister usually steers away from the spotlight. 

But today, Ashlee's talking to E!'s Daily 10, and we suspect someone's been popping the happy pills (by which we don't mean to imply she's on drugs, abusing drugs or ever taken so much as an aspirin).

When it comes to her dad, Joe, people have the wrong idea about him. "He's so awesome."

And her steady squeeze, Pete Wentz, well, "He's an awesome supportive boyfriend."

In fact, nothing gets Ash down. Not even that infamous SNL incident, because the exposure was "actually pretty awesome" and propelled her second album to number one.
