Billy on the Street Returns With Michelle Obama, Big Bird and Elena and the Results Are Wonderful

See the first lady go up against the Sesame Street character and fan-favorite contestant in a new game

Billy Eichner returned with the biggest Billy on the Street yet: Big Bird, Michelle Obama and Elena! Yes, that is quite the trifecta.

Eichner's first segment of 2015 took place in a grocery store with Big Bird (who is Jane Lynch-levels tall, according to Eichner) and the First Lady competing in a new game: Ariana Grande or Eating a Carrot. Yes, you read that right.

Before getting into the festivities, Eichner quizzed Mrs. Obama on what goes on when she and President Barack Obama get home after a busy day. Do they watch DVRed episodes of Hot in Cleveland? "A lot of Sports Center going on in our house," she told him in the video below. "If I want to talk to him, I've got to know a little bit about football, basketball or whatever it is."

"We are here for a very important reason: As we all know other than texting funny GIFs, one of the first lady's priorities has been to raise awareness of healthy eating and exercise for young kids and parents alike," Eichner explained. The Eat Brighter campaign sees the produce industry and Sesame Street teaming to encourage families to eat more fruits and vegetables. "We're bribing kids to eat fruit!" Eichner yelled.

Then out came Elena, who had no idea she was about to meet the First Lady or Big Bird. When she was introduced to Obama, Elena was stunned. "I just can't believe it. This is the best day of my life," she said. "You're not like an actress being Michelle Obama?...I love Michelle Obama. Remember I told you I love her more than anyone?...I've never even been in a supermarket in about 10 years."

Questions from the game included: "Which is better: Eating a carrot or Ariana Grande?" "Who's more deserving of a Kennedy Center Honor: Martin Short or a frozen box of corn?" "Did you guys know Ted Danson was on CSI?"
